Comic Relief - Taking on The Tough Stuff
02 February 09
Take part in Comic Relief's new initiative for British Actors - Taking on The Tough Stuff.
Taking On The Tough Stuff is a new initiative by Comic Relief for British actors. Actors throughout the UK can give 1% of their earnings to Comic Relief between 1st January and 13th March 2009 - Red Nose Day.
Actors often tackle tough social issues through their work on screen and Comic Relief are asking them to help tackle those issues on the ground.

How Does it Work?
If you're an actor, all you need to do is to tell your agent you’d like to be part of the initiative. Your agent will do the sums and give the money to Comic Relief - they’ll also generously donate their share of that 1%, which is only a hundredth of their commission.
Comic Relief can also claim up to 28p per pound extra on each donation if you are eligible for Gift Aid.
