Having enjoyed two series of success, reaching over 4 million viewers and building up an extensive and loyal fan base, Miranda Hart is certainly doing something right - despite her feelings that the industry wouldn't like Miranda when it first aired, as studio comedy was perceived as too old-fashioned.
Miranda has been applauded for being warm, endearing and laugh-out-loud funny. In the words of its creator, writer and star, 'It now feels like people are allowed to openly like an uncool show.' In 2011 it earned a nomination at the BAFTA TV Awards.
