The British Academy Television Awards rewards the very best of British Television broadcast during the preceding year.

The awards in 2012 will take place on Sunday 27 May in London. Key dates can be found on the 2012 Television Awards timetable page.

Watch the Awards on TV

The ceremony will be broadcast on BBC1 on 27 May 2012. After the television broadcast, the BBC show will be available to watch on iPlayer.

Follow the Awards Online

Red carpet highlights, ceremony clips and exclusive backstage interviews from the awards will be available to watch on the Television Awards landing page. All exclusive coverage of the event will be available to view on the BAFTA YouTube Channel.

Winners will be revealed on this website, on the BAFTA Twitter feed and the BAFTA Facebook page as they are announced during the live ceremony.

Public Tickets and Red Carpet Access

There will be a number of tickets available for the public to purchase to attend the ceremony. There are also limited places available for the public to view the Red Carpet arrivals. This area of the website will be updated with further information nearer the time of the 2012 Television Awards.

Media Accreditation

Working media wishing to cover the British Academy Television Awards must apply for accreditation in advance from Freud Communications .
