Jen Kenwood | Producer

A love of storytelling is at the heart of Jen’s desire to work in the TV & film industry. 

Jen began her career working in independent film. She assisted at the BFI London Film Festival, and then programmed the new talent strand at Bird’s Eye View, a film festival and agency which campaigns for gender equality. 

She then moved to Warp Films to work in development, initially as an assistant and then later as a Development Producer. Whilst there she worked across films including Submarine, Four Lions and Tyrannosaur. Most recently she worked as Head of Development at Drama Republic, and is now an Exec Producer.

It is Pure, the C4 series which charts a young woman’s struggle with mental health, specifically OCD, that is Jen’s most notable project, having been with it from its conception, attaching the talent, director and writer. She is incredibly proud of the critical response it’s received and it’s recent acquisition by HBO Max. 

Jen is looking forward to meeting a variety of different professionals in the industry – in particular other women. She is also looking forward to attending screenings and additional industry events.
