BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards
Don Cheadle, Stephen Frears and Tilda Swinton will be honoured at the BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards on 6 November.
The Awards are BAFTA/LA's highest accolade celebrating the achievement of individuals and companies in the entertainment arts.
BAFTA-nominated actor and director Sean Penn will receive this year’s Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film.

Entry is now open for the Orange British Academy Film Awards set to take place on Sunday 8th February 2009 at the Royal Opera House in London.
The British Academy Children's Awards in association with Electronic Arts will take place on Sunday 30 November. The Awards recognise excellence in the art forms of the moving image aimed at children, from film and TV to interactive media.
The next British Academy Video Games Awards will take place on Tuesday 10 March 2009 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
The British Academy Television Craft Awards honour the unseen heroes of television, those who tirelessly work behind the camera. The Craft Awards in 2008 took place on Sunday 11 May.
Since 1954 the British Academy Television Awards have been recognizing outstanding achievement in television. The Television Awards in 2008 were held on Sunday 20 April.
