Join British foley artist Pete Burgis for an insightful session on the magical world of foley in partnership with Glasgow Film Festival. The BAFTA allocation of tickets is sold out, but please note free public tickets are available on the day on a first come first served basis.
Footsteps, creaking doors, rustling leaves – the everyday sound effects you perhaps take for granted but which add the extra magic to a movie. British Foley Artist Pete Burgis will use some everyday objects ranging from vegetables to belts to demonstrate realistic sound effects in this entertaining and informative session.
Pete currently works for Pinewood Post Production, building the Group's in-house foley and editioral service. His highly impressive CV includes the Oscar winning The King's Speech, Murder on the Orient Express, Paddington, Slumdog Millionaire, Baby Driver, Quantum of Solace and the Harry Potter films.
