Career Close-Up is a free programme of monthly events, supported by Skills Development Scotland, focussing on different skills and craft areas including but not limited to; directing, screenwriting, producing, editing and cinematography.
Each session is small and intimate, allowing for one to one discussion and the chance to network following the event.
Career Close-Up is specifically aimed at individuals who are actively pursuing a career in the moving image industries. The programme is only available to graduates with a relevant qualification who are still seeking work in the moving image industries and have a named credit on a least one production (including student/YouTube projects).
View our photography highlights from each of our Career Close-Up Sessions, ranging from Directing Drama with Tom Vaughan (Doctor Foster, Victoria) to Costume Design with Trisha Biggar (Star Wars, Emerald City) to Screenwriting with Louise Ironside (Call the Midwife, Waterloo Road) below.
Thanks also to The Galashan Trust who support BAFTA Scotland's Learning & New Talent annual activity.
