From the very beginning, films have startled and entertained audiences with magical illusions and dazzling special effects. Steven Begg gave audiences an insight into the art of visual effects in this BAFTA Scotland masterclass at Glasgow Film Festival. Steven has brought many ground-breaking films to life over his 30 year career. He is celebrated for his work on The Bond Franchise, and is responsible for blowing up the Mi6 headquarters in Central London in Skyfall. His impressive catalogue of work also includes The Avengers, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Batman Begins and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.
This event was hosted by Paul English and took place at The CCA, Glasgow on Friday 24 February.
