BAFTA Scotland teams up with Glasgow Film Office to discuss Glasgow's success as an international location.
BAFTA Scotland and the Glasgow Film Office present a panel session looking into how Glasgow has become a sought after Hollywood location, and the creative process involved in turning one city into another. From hordes of zombies in George square, to Halle Berry in flares, Glasgow has recently hosted major Hollywood productions, doubling for some of the most iconic US cities.
Jennifer Reynolds, Glasgow Film Commissioner will lead a discussion around the location scouting process. Taking a look at our panellists Lloret Dunn and David Brown’s careers, Lloret and David will then share their insights into how central Glasgow became Philadelphia for World War Z and San Francisco for recent blockbuster Cloud Atlas.
This event took place on Thursday 16 May, 6:30pm at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA), Glasgow.
