Members were treated to an unexpected visit from The Doctor when Peter Capaldi came to our preview screening of Sherlock (episode 2, series 3) f on Sunday 5 January, which took place in Chapter, Cardiff.
The preview was followed by a Q&A chaired by Boyd Hilton (Heat Magazine) with co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss; Colm McCarthy (director of episode 2) and Sue Vertue from Hartswood Films.
A limited number of tickets were made available to the public and the whole event sold out in 15 minutes attracting Sherlock fans from all over the world including, Japan, Germany and Spain.
Produced in Wales by BBC One and Hartswood Films, the contemporary re-imagining of the Arthur Conan Doyle classic, has caused a sensation since it first aired in the summer of 2010. Picking up seven BAFTA Cymru Awards and delivering an audience of more than 10 million viewers.
