Marc Evans's Patagonia, shot in Welsh and Spanish languages, is this year's UK Oscar entry in the foreign-language film category for the 84th Academy Awards®. Previous Oscar-nominations were for Wales, Hedd Wynn in 1993 and Solomon and Gaenor in 1999.
