March saw the first of a series of exciting tasting events hosted at 195 Piccadilly in conjunction with our Head Chef, Anton Manganaro and his suppliers.
The evening consisted of drinks and canapés on arrival, before guests were guided on a fascinating journey through the world of chocolate, lead by Ben Leask from Hotel Chocolat’s, Rabot Estate store in Borough Market.
Guests were offered 13 chocolates to taste with differing chocolate percentages and tutored in the art of conching, a process that mixes the cocoa butter and chocolate continuously for anything from 6 hours to 3 days to produce the taste and richness of each piece of chocolate.
The evening ended with a tour of the venue and gave guests the opportunity to see the spaces 195 Piccadilly has to offer.
The next event, which will be held on 2 May, will be a sensational tutored tasting of magnificent cheeses . The evening will be presented by Tom Badcock, one of Britain's foremost and most entertaining cheese specialists. Please contact us if you would like to attend.
