faye wilson

(05-03-2009)

"Being human is a really good dark drama, with great cast. I am very glad they'll be a second series. I really hope it wins an award."

faye wilson

(05-58-2009)

"I really hope Heroes win international programme this year, it's a brilliant show, exciting. Also Not going out is a really good comedy, it always make me laugh. Hollyoaks is the best soap, it has great storylines and great cast, I hope it wins best soap someday soon."

mary merkell

(26-46-2009)

"I've never seen a soap actor nominated for a BAFTA. I think that Patsy Palmer, aka Bianca in Eastenders should win Best Actress in 2009. Her acting in he story of the sexual abuse was breath-taking."

paul lawrence

(20-09-2008)

"Surprised not to see Ross Kemp up for his program "Ross Kemp in Afganistan", excellent program about our troops serving in a war zone."

Gill

(28-49-2008)

"How could 'Life on Mars' not win an award? And only be nominated in one category? I guess it's gone off peoples radar. It's beautifully written, acted and designed...totally original concept."

Alex Morris

(24-45-2008)

"How on Earth did Gavin and Stacey win?! I find it so desperately un-funny, and the performances would look amateurish in a school play, let alone on national television. Could the Academy be losing it's marbles..."

caroline russell

(24-25-2008)

"I cannot believe Ross Kemp in Afganistan did not feature. It's the best thing I've seen on TV for years. It was gripping, real, sensitive, totally totally watchable!!!!"

Hayley Watkins

(22-28-2008)

"Gavin and Stacey - Best programme on TV. Definately deserved to win. Congratulations to James Cordon also."

caroline russell

(22-28-2008)

"I cannot believe Ross Kemp in Afganistan did not feature. It's the best thing I've seen on TV for years. It was gripping, real, sensitive, totally totally watchable!!!!"

Alan Houston

(22-28-2008)

"Wot! No awards for 'Shameless'. Shameful."

Mairead Kinlough

(22-28-2008)

"It is such a shame that Ross Kemp did not receive an award .His documentary about the war in Afghanistan was excellent-it gave an amazing insight to what life was like for the soldiers. It was by far the best factual documentary ."

James Chipman

(22-27-2008)

""The Street" getting the gong for best drama is one thing, but "Rome" & "Skins" not getting a look in on that award? Thats just wrong!"

Paul Hedges

(21-39-2008)

"Where was Ross Kemp in Afghanistan? It was of the best programmes of the past year - Well delivered without showing the horrors of war to the family members but at the same time showing the hazards are young men are going through each day."

anne longstaff

(21-01-2008)

"Fantastic to see Lie of The Land rewarded - saw it when channel hopping and my son (15) and I sat riveted - it was brilliant! Please repeat and publisise it as it would open a lot of peoples eyes to what is going on. Its implication were truly awful for those living in countryside and should wake up everyone to what is happening."

Chrissie Willicombe

(21-54-2008)

"I can forgive the Academy for awarding Harry Hill not one but TWO BAFTAs last night...a man I find spectacularly un-funny (and Britain's Got Talent is a million times more entertaining). I can forgive them, with a sigh, for giving the award to The Street and once again ignoring Life on Mars, one of the best shows of the decade. BUT I am absolutely astounded beyond belief that Britz won over Cranford. Seriously? WHAT were you thinking??? The performances by every actor in it were outstanding, the script was wonderful, the direction a delight. Cranford is worthy of OSCARS (if they did such a thing), let alone a BAFTA. I booed at my telly!"

Ally

(21-53-2008)

"Hmmmm. Can't believe Life on Mars didn't win, they completely deserved it. And what's with Harry Hill always winning awards... he is really not very funny. :) I really need to start watching Gavin and Stacey."

paul law

(20-37-2008)

"No nominations for " Ross Kemp in Afganistan", very surprised, excellent program, showing what our troops are going through out there."

arran white

(20-36-2008)

"I am disappointed not to see David Tennant or Dr Who up for an award."

Angela

(20-34-2008)

"No "Recovery", no "Doctor Who", no Sarah Parish, no David Tennant, no John Simm? What happened? I agree that it's good to see quality productions such as Cranford getting a nomination along with Judy Dench but what about non soapy, popular drama? Oh, and why so many soaps. One can only hope that the viewers' vote will balance things out..."

Chris

(19-18-2008)

"I must agree with other's comments that it is extremeley disappointing not to see any nominations for Dr Who, Torchwood or David Tennant. They are easily the most successful and popular TV programmes of the last few years. David Tennat's acting in Recovery also deserves a nomination."

Becky Tye

(19-20-2008)

"Hi, why isn't Doctor Who or Torchwood there? They deserve it more than the others, and why isn't David Tennant in the Actors category? Plus, what about Dancing On Ice? Its a shame there aren't many of my favourites this time :("

Shane Williams

(19-57-2008)

"Hi, Very disappointed that both Dr Who and Torchwood failed to get any nominations."

Suzanne Rae

(18-53-2008)

"I am very disappointed that 'Recovery' was not given a nomination as it was a lovely film even though it was hard to watch and heartbreaking. David Tennant and Sarah Parish should also have received nominations as Alan and Tricia Hamiliton as they were both believable and brought tears to my eyes and probably to those of many others."

d cox

(18-13-2008)

"I noticed both Skins, my favourite drama, And Coming Down the Mountain, my favourite single drama are included in this years nominations - the connection being that Britains best young acting talent Nicholas Hoult starred in both of them and I am suprised he isn't nominated in the best actor category. In my opinion he is quite simply the best actor we have in Britain right now and I'm completely mesmorised by his performances whenever he appears on screen. He was wonderful when he guested on the Jonathon Ross chat show too. Rock on Nick, your day must surely come very soon."

joby

(17-07-2008)

"Where is Gavin and Stacey? I see James Corden is nominated so why not the series? And Ruth Jones is the star of the show..."

Zoe

(17-36-2008)

"Where's Doctor Who? And The Mighty Boosh? Shockers all round."

Rachel

(17-06-2008)

"It's sad to see that anything Doctor Who related is only nominated for interactivity- the comic maker. I think all the production team's hard work over the last year has been overlooked , and I hope others will agree."

Stephen James Walker

(16-24-2008)

"Why isn't "Doctor Who" nominated for best Drama Serial, and its stars for best Actor and best Actress? It is disappointing to see them overlooked this year..."

Jake Edwards

(14-27-2008)

"One major omission from the nominations is the excellent series 'Sensitive Skin' on BBC2, a little gem that was brilliantly written, acted, filmed & critically praised. "

sophie

(14-24-2008)

"Heroes for the win."

DjDairy

(28-01-2008)

"Good round up of nominees this year, all I can say is go Steve Merchant!!!"

Rob Stevenson

(26-29-2008)

"A really interesting set of nominations this year - Really glad Peep Show and Britz got nominations."
