Chromeless One player. www.bafta.org + Powered by brightcove (587 x 330)

The full length Christine Cant interview video is available to watch now on BAFTA Guru.

Christine’s career has almost exclusively centred around comedy and her impressive catalogue of work includes the likes of Father Ted, The Mighty Boosh, French and Saunders and Alan Partridge.

She has played an integral part in creating some of our best loved and most cherished comedy characters and was awarded a BAFTA in 1989 for her work on Agatha Christie’s Poirot.

You have to be quite sensitive. You’ve got to be very very aware of atmospheres and how people are feeling.

In the full video, Christine reveals the secrets of her trade and offers her advice to those aspiring to follow in her footsteps. The interview focuses on building a career in the TV industry and working with celebrity artists. She is joined by her friends and previous ‘victims’ of her make-up chair, Noel Fielding and Jennifer Saunders, made up as the Spirit of Jazz and Joan Collins.
