Ewan Angus
Chairman, BAFTA in Scotland

Ewan Angus is Commissioning Editor, Television at BBC Scotland. He has worked in broadcasting for more than 20 years, much of it spent producing and directing across a broad range of programmes both for BBC Scotland and for the BBC’s network services. In his current role he is responsible for all television output produced for audiences in Scotland. Since 2005 he has had additional responsibilities as Head of Sport. Ewan is a member of the Executive Committee of the Celtic Media Festival and the Advisory Committee of the Sheffield Doc/Fest.

Sandy Ross
Joint Deputy Chair, BAFTA in Scotland

Sandy Ross has worked in the television industry for over thirty years. He is currently working as an independent producer with his own company MurrayfieldMedia. Previously he worked for Granada TV and Scottish TV as a producer and programme executive. Sandy is a previous Chair of BAFTA Scotland and is the current chair of the Salford Conference on Television from the Nations and Regions.

Claire Mundell
Joint Deputy Chair, BAFTA in Scotland

Claire Mundell is an award-winning producer with over 16 years experience at both at single camera director, creative producer and executive producer level, Claire’s debut feature film, Crying with Laughter recently premiered at The Edinburgh International Film Festival ’09 and was nominated for The Michael Powell Award. As Co-Creative Director of Synchronicity, Claire creates, develops and writes film and TV drama properties for the UK and International market with business and creative partner Justin Molotnikov. Claire spent 10 years in network production at the BBC, where she moved quickly up the ranks to become senior management covering all aspects of production on the way including research, celebrity booking on Saturday morning live show Live and Kicking and Fully Booked, to single camera directing, producing and then Executive Producing.

In her time at the BBC Claire gained a thorough understanding of network production, working across a range of genre including live studio entertainment, factual entertainment and drama. Before joining the BBC, Claire was a production Manager and Researcher working in the independent sector. She sits on the Board of Independent cinema, Glasgow Film Theatre and is also a regular External Assessor for the Lottery Panel of Scottish Screen.

Morag Fullarton

Morag Fullarton began her career in the theatre before training on the BBC Drama Directors Course. She has been directing television drama for nearly two decades including many BAFTA winning dramas such as Cardiac Arrest, This Life, Rebus and the Emmy nominated At Home With the Braithwaites which she produced and directed. She has also written for the Comic Strip, Taggart and is currently writing a childrens book. She is passionate about increasing the industry's profile in Scotland and creating more work opportunities.

Peter Lawson

Peter Lawson is a lawyer practising in Glasgow with interests in the media and entertainment industry. Currently he is Chairman of the Tron Theatre Glasgow and is legal advisor to a number of public funded arts organisations. He is a Director in Raindog Limited, a film and tv production company, based in Glasgow.

Andrew Lockyer

Andrew Lockyer is a series producer in the Factual department of BBC Scotland. He has overseen the ArtWorks Scotland strand since it began and has also produced or executive produced series such as Edinburgh Nights, The DVD Collection, The Cinema Show, Dickens in America and Barrymore on Broadway as well as classical music and opera. His cinematic tastes include Woody Allen (when he was funny), Hollywood musicals, gripping thrillers and Yellow Submarine.

Elizabeth Partyka

Elizabeth has a long track record in the media, starting her career with Radio Clyde. Since then she has worked with BBC Scotland, Granada Television and the US Company Buena Vista before joining SMG as Managing Director, Content. Working in radio and television, she has overseen a variety of award winning programmes including Fun House, How 2, Wheel of Fortune, Club Reps and Uncle Dad. As MD of the SMG Content Division, she is now responsible for the output from its two production arms, SMG productions and Ginger productions. This covers a large portfolio of established and successful programmes including Taggart, Rebus, DNA Stories, Postcode Challenge and Jack Osbourne – Adrenaline Junkie.

Celia Stevenson

Celia Stevenson comes from a broadcasting background having worked in both radio and television. She was Chief Executive of Scottish Screen Locations before it became part of Scottish Screen and now is their Head of Inward investment and Communications.

John O'Neill
Treasurer

John is a qualified accountant who has trained and worked with Ernst & Young in both Glasgow and Los Angeles. During this time he worked solely on entrepreneurial business focusing on the SME market, managing client portfolios and advising on a range of issues.
John left Ernst & Young in 1999 and became Finance Director at MTP, a TV commercials production company based in Glasgow. In addition to the commercials production company John also had Board presence for a documentary company and graphic design company within the group.
In 2004 John left this position to set up his own consulting practice and since then has been operating as a Consultant Finance Director and Business advisor to entrepreneurial businesses. John gives advice on a range of issues such as business & financial strategy, business planning, management reporting and performance analysis.

Brian Baglow

Brian Baglow has been bothering the games industry for some time now. His current role of Media Monkey/Policy Advisor at Denki is helping to set the company up for a new direction focusing entirely on original new intellectual property and self-publishing in the rapidly evolving games and interactive sector. Prior to joining Denki Brian founded and ran the independent communications agency. While running Indoctrimat Brian also created and continues to run the games industry blog ScottishGames.biz. Brian also worked for three years on a voluntary basis as the Screenings Director of the Edinburgh Interactive Festival, the UK's first and only cross-media event celebrating the art and culture of videogames. Brian is also a visiting lecturer at Napier University's Screen Academy, where he works with film production and screen writing students, introducing them to the interactive sector and providing them with a basic grasp of the interactive world and the opportunities for the transference of skills from the film and television sectors.
