A fuller description of the benefits available at each level of partnership is described below.
Exclusive Signature Event
Corporate Partners and Corporate Supporters are eligible to receive one free Signature Event at 195 Piccadilly per annum. The event - based around film, television or any form of interactive entertainment - will be fully tailored to the partner's needs and could, for example, include the special screening of a new feature film. The Signature Event must be taken within the term of the agreement.
Screenings take place in the Princess Anne Theatre (capacity 213), with reception facilities available in our David Lean Room at the Partner's cost. BAFTA will endeavour to successfully fulfil all specific screening requests but screenings are strictly subject to the availability of prints from distributors.
Should Corporate Partners wish to hold a second Signature Event in any one year then the Academy will facilitate that request, provided sufficient notice is given, although all costs will be payable by the Partner. (Please note that Partners can claim a 50% discount on room hire if selected as one of their two discounted hire events available per annum as described below).
Opportunity to Purchase Tickets for Awards Ceremonies
Partners will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase up to ten (for Corporate Partners and Corporate Supporters) or four (for Corporate Associates) tickets, which may be offered at a special rate, to all annual British Academy Award ceremonies, specifically:
- The British Academy Film Awards
- The British Academy Television Awards
- The British Academy Television Craft Awards
- The British Academy Children's Awards
- The British Academy Video Games Awards
This offer is strictly subject to the availability of tickets, with no guarantee that any ticket requests will be granted.
Invitations to Other Exclusive BAFTA Events
Partners, Associates and Supporters will be offered tickets to a range of specially selected events at 195 Piccadilly, involving high profile personalities from the world of film, television and games. Recent events have included interviews and masterclasses featuring Woody Allen, Paul Abbott, Oliver Stone, Amitabh Bachchan, Cate Blanchett, Anthony Minghella and Lorraine Heggessey. NB. Please note that partners do not have access to 195 film screenings for voting BAFTA members.
'Friends of the Academy' Passes
Academy passes (six maximum for Corporate Partners and Corporate Supporters and two maximum for Corporate Associates) are available to partners, enabling privileged access to the Academy's members bar and restaurant facilities at 195 Piccadilly. NB. These passes do not confer voting rights.
Credit in all Academy Publications
Partners will receive prominent credits in all Academy publications, including our members' magazine ACADEMY and the official souvenir brochures for the annual Film and Television Awards ceremonies.
Discounted Advertising Rates for Academy Publications
Partners are entitled to take advantage of a discounted rate of 30% (for Corporate Partners and Corporate Supporters) and 25% (for Corporate Associates) on advertising in all Academy publications, including ACADEMY magazine, official souvenir Awards brochures and other special publications.
Discounted Hire Rates for 195 Piccadilly
The Academy encourages its partners to become involved with the Academy as much as possible and is delighted to offer them substantially discounted rates for hire of our Piccadilly facilities.
A 50% discount (for Corporate Partners and Corporate Supporters) or 25% (for Corporate Associates) on our normal hire fees will be offered as standard for bookings at 195 Piccadilly. Catering services are costed and charged separately. This offer applies for a maximum of two additional events in any contractual year above and beyond the Signature Event. The two events that qualify can be selected by the Partner, provided these are nominated in advance of the individual events concerned.
Personal Management
It is the Academy's intention to manage its relationships closely via a nominated executive to ensure that benefits can be maximised for each party via a clear understanding of each partner's objectives and a free flow of information.
Corporate Partner Events Hosted by BAFTA
The Academy will be hosting two annual events to thank partners for their much valued support. One of these will be an exclusive event for Corporate Partners and the other will be for all affiliate partners. These events will be ideal for internal facing hospitality and also for networking with fellow partners.
