Alfred Hitchcock: Retrospective

In partnership with the American Cinematheque, BAFTA Los Angeles is Co-Hosting a special retrospective screening of some classic works by legendary British filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock.

Alfred Hitchcock began making movies in his native England before moving in 1939 to Hollywood, where he steadily built on his reputation as a master of suspense.

By the time of his death in 1980, Hitchcock was recognized as one of the pantheon filmmakers of the 20th century.

This two-month program mixes popular favorites including NORTH BY NORTHWEST, SHADOW OF A DOUBT and THE BIRDS with numerous rarities from the archives.

BAFTA Members are encouraged to join us and the American Cinematheque at the various screenings to be held in April and May.
