As part of our ongoing celebrations in our 25th Anniversary year, BAFTA Los Angeles is pleased to announce our participation in a series of British content at the Egyptian and Aero Theatres, beginning with a series of films from Malcolm McDowell and Terence Davies.
Co-Presented with our friends at the American Cinematheque, films shown on the big screen will a include newly restored A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, a brand-new 35mm print of THE LONG DAY CLOSES, and a rare screening of Lindsay Anderson’s IF… and its follow-up O LUCKY MAN! The series will include special interviews with Malcolm McDowell and Terence Davies, and later in the year we will present a series of classic James Bond 007 favorites.
The first of these special screenings with the American Cinematheque will be March 11, 2011 with BAFTA Members eligible to attend at no charge. Reduced tickets are available for the remaining evenings when purchasing from the theater box office.
