Beginning his screenwriting career alongside his brother Hugh, Woodhouse co-scripted episodes of the Gerry Anderson series Supercar (1961). He also wrote for other popular series including The Avengers (1962-66), Emerald Soup (1963), The Hidden Truth (1964), Dr Finlay’s Casebook (1965) The Man In Room 17 (1965) and The Protectors (1972-73).
