An innovative BBC sports producer, Webster won BAFTAs for his team’s coverage of the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games and the Berlin athletics world championships in 2009. He covered six Olympic games, 10 athletics world championships as well as the 1994 football World Cup in the US, Euro 96 and others.
