Reg Varney

Known to television viewers as cheeky, chirpy bus driver Stan Butler in On The Buses (1969-73), Varney reprised the part in three spin-off films. He starred in other popular sitcoms, The Rag Trade (1961) and Beggar My Neighbour (1966-68) and in films including The Great St. Trinian’s Train Robbery (1966).
