A British actress who gained a cult following for her role in Doctor Who, Tamm portrayed Romana a female Time Lord to Tom Baker’s Doctor between 1978 and 1979. She also had memorable roles in Coronation Street (1973), Brookside (1993-95) and Eastenders (2009) with films including The Odessa File (1974).
