A popular session singer, Scots born Street was a familiar voice on easy listening BBC radio programmes, and performed backing vocals on some of the popular television series of the day. These include The Morecambe and Wise Show, The Two Ronnies, The Val Doonican Show and The Des O’Connor Show.
