After Hitchcock's 1960 classic, Stefano re-visited Psycho's Norman Bates character on two further occasions with his scripts for Psycho IV: The Beginning (1990) and Gus van Sant's 1998 remake of the original. He also wrote a flurry of TV movies in the 70s, including Revenge (1971) and The Magician (1973).
