A television presenter who inspired a new generation of art lovers through his popular children’s series SMart (1996-2008), Speight also enjoyed success with the BAFTA-nominated Saturday morning show Scratchy & Co. (1998). Other series he hosted included See It Saw It (1999) and the award-winning History Busters (2003).
