One of British television’s best loved comedy actors, Rodgers starred in the popular sitcoms Fresh Fields (1984-86) and May To December (1989-94). A regular on stage and occasionally seen in films, television remained his prime medium with other series including Ukridge (1968), Zodiac (1974), Lillie (1978) and Noah’s Ark (1997).
