A popular singing star alongside her five sisters, Dublin born Nolan translated this success into an acting career on stage and screen. Along with countless appearances on tv variety shows, she presented the children’s programme On The Waterfront (1988-89) and starred in drama series including Brookside (2000-02), The Bill (2002-05).
