Cast opposite Richard Attenborough in the classic British film Brighton Rock (1947), Marsh made a strong impression as the naive and trusting waitress who falls for the charms of his psychopathic character. She also had leading roles in other films including Alice in Wonderland (1949), Scrooge (1951) and Dracula (1958).
