An influential jazz singer and civil rights campaigner, Lincoln also acted in film and television. Big screen appearances came in Nothing But A Man (1964) and For Love Of Ivy (1968) among others, with guest roles on popular television shows including Mission: Impossible (1971) and All In The Family (1978).
