Henry LeTang

Choreographer

New York-born LeTang was a choreographer who influenced the generations who tapped in his footsteps. Students included Gregory Hines, Debbie Allen, Chita Rivera and Savion Glover. Films were overshadowed by his teaching and his work in the theatre, but he did choreograph The Cotton Club (1984) and Tap (1989).
