Known to television audiences for his recurring role as Jerry’s Uncle Leo in Seinfeld (1991-98), Lesser was a prolific character actor in film and television. His big screen appearances include Papillon (1973) and The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976), with Everybody Loves Raymond (1996-2004) among his many other small screen credits.
