Best known for adapting Ann Oakley’s novel The Men’s Room (1991), Lamson saw the resultant BBC miniseries become a cause célèbre and ratings hit. Other work for television includes Rich Deceiver (1995), The Alchemists (1999), Agatha Christie’s Sparkling Cyanide (2003) and the documentary Wren: The Man Who Built Britain (2004).
