The launch producer of Doctor Who (1963), Lambert's other hits include Detective, Budgie, Rock Follies, The Naked Civil Servant, GBH and Jonathan Creek. She also produced films such as A Cry In The Dark (1988) and was awarded the Alan Clarke Award for Outstanding Creative Contribution to Television in 2002.
