A popular child actress in 1930s Hollywood, Jones appeared in Heidi (1937) and The Little Princess (1939) though her career never reached the dizzy heights that the star of those films, Shirley Temple, attained. Her other major roles came in These Three (1937) and The Life of Emile Zola (1937).
