Widely recognised as the face of Welsh sport, Humphrys presented the sports coverage on the BBC’s Wales Today programme from 1988 until 2008. He began his career in newspapers, came into broadcasting via radio and broke into television as a reporter on the investigative news programme Week In Week Out.
