A respected showbusiness agent, Hancock established his own agency in 1961. His many clients included Barry Cryer, Terry Nation, Jimmy Perry, David Croft and David Renwick as well as his own brother, comedy star Tony Hancock. In later years he found success exporting British television show formats to the US.
