As ITV’s foremost commentator on the sport, Gutteridge was recognised as ‘the voice of boxing’ and, working in tandem with ex-pro Jim Watt, he brought his expertise to bear on countless fights. He also wrote several biographies - as well as an autobiography - and co-hosted the consumer series 10 Million (1986).
