Bob Friend

A much-loved foreign correspondent who began his career in local newspapers, Friend learned his trade at the BBC before joining Sky News in 1989. Equally comfortable with fast breaking, hard news stories and lighter content, he also played cameos in the films Mission: Impossible (1996) and Independence Day (1996).
