Credited with the steadfast stewardship of BBC Choice in 1998, Everett oversaw a key development as the corporation joined the digital age. A former producer whose credits include Oppenheimer (1980) and several entries in the BBC’s award-winning documentary strands, she served in various executive posts from the 1990s onward.
