Edwards’s career spanned five decades, including various Royal projects such as Royal Family (1969), the Queen’s Christmas speech (1968-2006) and Elizabeth R (1992), for which he won a BAFTA. Other television work included The Family (1974), Christabel (1988), Close My Eyes (1990) and the BAFTA-nominated Caught On A Train (1980).
