With lyricist Myles Rudge Dicks wrote Bernard Cribbins’ hit songs The Hole In The Ground and Right Said Fred. The pair wrote the theme song for Carry On Screaming! (1966), and alone Dicks wrote the music for Cribbins (1969) and Catweazle (1970) on television and the film Virgin Witch (1972).
