His name inevitably tied to the X-rated feature Deep Throat (1972), Damiano helped define an era of ‘porno chic’ with this hugely profitable film. He followed this with The Devil In Miss Jones (1973), and more conventional dramas Memories Within Miss Aggie (1974) and The Story Of Joanna (1975).
