A comic institution in his native Spain, Coll was one half of the much loved double act Tip y Coll, with partner Luis Sanchez Pollack. Shades of Monty Python informed their more surreal comedy as they enjoyed appearances on hit television series, theatre shows, appearances in cabaret and 15 movies.
