Francis Coleman

Television Producer

Recruited by Granada’s Sidney Bernstein from his native Canada, Coleman subsequently moved to ATV where his directorial credits included On The Braden Beat (1962-64). A senior producer for music and arts at the 1964 launch of BBC2, he later served as head of religious, children’s and education programmes at Thames.
