A television star before his teens, Coleman shot to fame as the precocious Arnold Jackson in Diff’rent Strokes (1978-86) complete with his own oft repeated catchphrase ‘whatchoo talkin’ ‘bout Willis?’. Other tv work did not come close to eclipsing this, though he twice had guest roles in The Simpsons (1999-2000).
