Lord Buxton of Alsa

Executive

A former chief executive of Anglia Television and co-founder of the World Wildlife Fund (the then) Aubrey Buxton’s twin interests found lasting expression in the nature documentary series he created, Survival (1961). He later served as president of the Royal Television Society and – between 1981 and 1986 – chairman of ITN.
