A musical theatre star discovered singing in a nightclub by Irving Berlin, Bruce also worked in television and film. Her big screen roles came in This Woman Is Mine (1941), Keep ‘Em Flying (1941) and Behind The Eight Ball (1942), while on television she appeared in WKRP In Cincinnati (1978-82).
