A BAFTA winner for her performance in Marty (1955), Blair fell victim to the McCarthy witchhunts and later relocated to Britain. After divorcing Gene Kelly, she married Karel Reisz and continued to act on stage and screen in projects including Il Grido (1957), A Delicate Balance (1973) and Betrayed (1988).
