Monty Berman

London-born Berman began as a cinematographer, working on Michael Powell's The Edge of the World (1937). He formed Tempean Films with Robert S. Baker in 1948 and produced many 'B' movies throughout the 50s. Moving into television, Berman enjoyed success producing The Saint (1962-65) and Department S (1969-70).
