John Bentley

Actor

A handsome actor who began his career on stage before the war, Bentley took the title role in the B-movies Calling Paul Temple (1948), Paul Temple’s Triumph (1950) and Paul Temple Returns (1952). He later found fame as Hugh Mortimer, husband of Meg Richardson, in the popular soap Crossroads (1965-76).
